4 Children Burned by Sulfuric Acid - News- msnbc.com

This is another story of a horrible incident involving children. These children were burned severely and the mother left them. I just don't understand why and how a parent or anybody could do this and not get help!! I can't imagine what these children went through, but I know first hand how burns feel. I caught on fire when I was in the third grade. I don't know how intense chemical burns are but I can tell you if it is anything like being on fire it is HORRIBLE! More and more in the headlines you read about these type of stories! The people who do this need to be punished to the fullest ability of the law.  It will be interesting to find out why they had the sulfuric acid. My prayers are with these children. I hope they have family that will be able to  help them.

bnm-817046  I know that a story can slant only one way. I hope as you said the mother had a reason for walking away from her screaming children. Maybe she was trying to save them from further harm or their lives. I don't know. My immediate reaction was for the children. They are the ones who was harmed. So many times a parent gets involved with the wrong person and the child ends up being the one who suffer at the hands of the boyfriend or girlfriend, whatever the case maybe. I know this first hand, having being involved with a little 5 year old girl who was hung, neck slit and sexually abused at the hands of a boyfriend's friend who came to the house. My point is, maybe the parent needs to be careful about who they bring into their homes. My prayers are for all who are involved. If I offended you I am sorry.
